2012 PARISH OFFERTORY ENVELOPES

Each year we send a packet of offertory envelopes to each registered family.  These packets have contained a regular offertory envelope, holy day envelopes, second collection envelopes and a monthly debt reduction envelope.

For 2012, we have contracted with a new envelope supplier and have made a few additional changes.  With the discounts provided by the new supplier and the changes we have made, the parish will realize a significant savings.

·   Automatic Contribution System participants will not receive envelope packets.

If you make your regular offering through the parish’s Automatic Contribution System (ACS) whereby your offering is drafted from your checking account weekly or monthly, you will NOT be receiving an envelope packet.  You are asked to use the generic second collection envelopes for holy days and second collections.  Again, eliminating the over 100 books printed for those who use ACS adds to our savings.  If you decide to switch from ACS to envelopes, we will make an envelope packet available.

·   No second collection envelopes are included in the packets. “Generic” second collection envelopes will be made available for your use.

Including special offertory envelopes in each packet is very expensive since it entails setting up a template for each special envelope.  We have realized a significant savings by not including special offertory envelopes, with the exception of holy days, in your packets.  Rather, we have printed and will make available to you “blank” second collection envelopes in the pews and the narthex.  On these envelopes you will have an opportunity to write the amount of your offering, designate the respective collection, for example, St. Vincent DePaul, Catholic Relief Services, St. Ann Fun Day, etc.  You may also use these envelopes for making your Home, Family, Future campaign pledge payments and gifts by simply indicating “HFF” on the line marked “For.”

Thank you, as always for your generous support of St. Ann, no matter how you make your contribution.  If you do use envelopes, we hope you will consider the ACS program which will eliminate the need to mail envelopes to you next year and also saves us on bank processing charges.

If you have any questions or comments on these changes, please contact Rob Marczynski at 373-6011 or at robert.marczynski@stann.cdom.org.
